To be able to open the rear door of the Mercedes CLK when it is locked, you need to unscrew the screws that secure the molding positioned around the license plate light. Once this molding has been removed and the license plate bulb has been disconnected, it will be possible to access the internal components from its housing. There will be the hood actuator cable, which will need to be gently pulled in order to unlock the lock. In this way it will be possible to raise the rear door of the car, in order to have access to the inside of the trunk.
