In this video we can see where the starter motor is located in the Mercedes Classe A, useful in case we need to replace it. As shown, the starter motor is located in the rear area of the engine, at about half height, and is accessible either by going under the vehicle or by opening the hood. In the latter case, however, it will be necessary to remove the air filter box and the intake manifold. The starter motor is secured with two bolts, which must be unscrewed with a simple socket wrench. Make sure to operate with the key not inserted and with the negative terminal of the battery disconnected.
