In order to remove the ignition switch of the Mercedes C-Class, you need to loosen the screws located at the back of the device: this way the airbag in the center of the steering wheel can be extracted, disconnecting its connectors at the back. Once the airbag has been removed, you can proceed by loosening the central nut of the steering wheel, removing it completely and thus gaining access to the ignition switch: this can now be removed from its seat, disconnecting its rear connectors and replacing it with a new replacement piece.
