In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the CVT gearbox in the Nissan Altima, an operation that requires good manual skills and a lot of experience. First of all we lift the car on a bridge or with a jack, obviously taking the necessary safety measures, after which we remove both wheels and then the entire engine cover. We continue by removing the air filter box, the battery, the control unit and its support, then we move under the vehicle and disconnect the exhaust pipe. Finally, we disassemble the lower frame, extract both drive shafts and proceed with the disassembly of the gearbox, taking care to support it with a suitable support.
