First, we open the rear tailgate of the trunk and start unscrewing the fastening screws of the tailgate panel. Then, we disconnect the electrical connector of the lock and unscrew its fastening screws to remove it from the tailgate, as shown in the video. At this point, we replace and install the new trunk latch, as well as the original one. We apply the reverse process for reassembly!
