Let's see how to change the oil of Toyota Land Cruiser; it's a very simple job, you just need the right tools, such as the keys to open the filler and drain plugs, but the size depends on the model of your vehicle. In the case of our Youtuber it is a J80 model, a 24 socket wrench is needed. A fundamental thing is a syringe to introduce the new oil into the differential. You can find it on Amazon at the code B003E37HTW and it costs 15.04 euros, free delivery. When we change the oil, it is good practice to also replace the differential plug seals. You can find the type of oil to buy in the use and maintenance manual, because it varies from model to model. Let's also get a container where to discharge the used oil: we will then dispose of it in an authorized centre. Then remove the oil filler cap, then the drain cap (clean the cap well first). When all the oil has flowed out, put the drain plug back on, and from the filler plug put the oil back into the differential - using the syringe. When oil comes out of the filler hole, the differential is full. We put the new gasket and tighten the cap. In the following days, we check that there are no leaks!
