In this tutorial, we can see where the coolant temperature sensor is located in the Volkswagen Golf and how to proceed in case we need to replace it. As shown, the sensor in question is located in the manifold connected to the radiator, placed between the engine and the radiator itself. To remove it, it will be sufficient to release the lower fixing clip, disconnect the connector, and remove it from the housing. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
