Volvo S60 - Video tutorial

Model: Volvo S60 MK 1 - Years 2000-2009
Part: Power Steering Motor
Operation: Replacement of power steering oil reservoir

To begin we must have access to the engine compartment, securing the hood in the open position safely. On the left side of the engine compartment (looking from the front) is the power steering oil reservoir: unscrew the cap and empty the reservoir with a blower. Then unhook the oil return pipe from the tank pipette and squeeze it with snap pliers to prevent oil leaks; repeat the same operation on the high pressure pipe. At this point unhook the tank and remove it from its seat to be able to replace it with the new one: it is advisable to also replace the delivery pipe to be fixed to the lower pipette of the tank with a clamp. Then hook the tank to its support and connect the return pipe. Fill the tank with specific hydraulic oil.
