On both sides of the honeycomb plastic grille where the Renault logo is set, there are two flaps that must be opened. The ignition key must be inserted on the right one and turned 90Â ° clockwise, then pull the two release levers in the two openings on the right and left. At this point, the hood can be moved forward (and not lifted as we instinctively would like to do) to access the battery compartment, the coolant expansion tank, the brake fluid and the windscreen washer tank.
