Answer

Engine failure is a generic fault warning light which is usually associated with precise fault codes. For Hyundai I10s produced from 2014 to present, the engine failure warning light problem can be caused by worn spark plugs and misfires in the cylinders. Logically, the solution would lead to focus on the ignition system. Then replace the spark plugs, check and replace the High Voltage cables, check and replace the ignition coils, phase sensors, etc. But with the risk of not solving the problem and only spending a lot of money. The solution to the problem could instead be much more immediate and simple than you think. If this has not already been done, the problem with the flashing engine warning light can be solved simply by updating the engine control unit software. Only as a second step could we then proceed to check the efficiency of the ignition and fuel system.
