What does the error code 128 mean in the Chevrolet Aveo?

The Chevrolet Aveo uses error codes to report faults in its system. Error code 128 indicates the presence of an anomaly in the thermostat. It is equivalent to a yellow / orange light, therefore to a non-imminent problem, which allows the user to go to a workshop without having to use the tow truck.
