It is possible to perform an operation test of the air conditioner without using the diagnosis; in fact, there is a manual procedure that allows the air conditioner control unit to automatically perform an operation test and a diagnosis; then turn on the ignition and the air conditioner, press the OFF button and the button at the same time to direct the air towards the feet for 3 seconds, release the buttons and press the AUTO button: the test will be performed and any error codes will be displayed; during the test you will hear the movements of the vanes and the fan speed notches will scroll on the display.
