Answer

A major problem affecting the Mini Countryman was the overheating of the turbocharger's auxiliary cooling pump. The function of the pump, which is designed to cool the turbo after the engine has stopped, could be impaired. The overheated turbo could cause a fire which would spread to the engine compartment and the rest of the car. It is a recall that has affected 235,000 cars, of which 9,500 in our country.
