How to Remove the Battery from a BMW 3 Series

How do you remove the power battery located in your BMW? Don’t worry, let’s see together in this video how to proceed. Before starting the disassembly, we need to know that in the BMW 3 Series, the battery is not located in the engine compartment but in the trunk. Lift the trunk lid, remove the side trim cover of the trunk (right side). You will find the battery that powers the entire electrical system of the car. Unscrew the fastening nuts of the terminals with a socket wrench, remove everything connected to the battery terminals. Finally, pull out the battery using the plastic handle. Install a new battery by reversing the disassembly steps. -Socket wrench with sockets -Screwdriver.
