BMW Serie 3 - Video tutorial

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Mass air flow sensor
Operation: Mass air flow sensor cleaning: mass air sensor

The mass air sensor (better known as mass air flow sensor) has a fundamental function for the correct air-fuel mixture, therefore its correct functioning is absolutely important. This sensor tends to get dirty especially if a sports-type filter has been installed: the oil that is sprayed on the filter to retain impurities can actually contaminate the aforementioned sensor. The sensor is located on the intake duct, immediately behind the filter container: just disconnect the socket and unscrew the clamps that secure the debimitro to the sleeve. At this point, wash the mass air flow sensor with a special spray (you can also use isopropyl alcohol): do not use solvents or other aggressive products that could damage the sensor itself. After cleaning, reassemble everything.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
