How do you reset the Service light on the Citroën Xsara Picasso?

The procedure to reset the Service light on the Citroën Xsara Picasso involves holding down the 000.0 button next to the display in the center of the dashboard: the button must be held down while the instrument panel is not turned on. While holding down the button, the ignition key must be inserted into the ignition switch and turned to turn on the instrument panel: this will start a countdown starting from 3, at the end of which the Service light will turn off. To complete the procedure, simply turn off the instrument panel.
