In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the EGR valve in the Ford Escape, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be completely cold, in order to operate safely. Then, we open the hood and locate the valve in question, which is located near the oil control rod. We then apply some penetrating spray to the two fixing bolts, let it sit for a few minutes, and unscrew them using two 10mm wrenches. Once this is done, we can unscrew the valve itself from the lower pipe, place the replacement, and follow the reverse procedure.
