If the low beam headlight bulb burns out, we must replace it as soon as possible for our safety and to avoid penalties. We open the hood of the engine compartment and position ourselves in front of the headlight that contains the bulb to be replaced. We remove the electrical connector, remove the soft rubber cover, release the wire spring that holds the bulb in place in order to remove it. We take the new bulb, being careful not to touch the bulb with bare hands, insert the rubber cover into the part with the electrical pins, flipping it over, and insert the connector. We position the bulb in its socket, aided by the tabs, lock it with the metal spring, and put the rubber cover back in its correct position.
