How do you remove the lock with the handle from a Renault Megane? In this detailed video, see how to disassemble it and remove it from the door housing. To remove the lock, you need a suitable screwdriver for this operation. Insert the screwdriver into the slot of the door as shown in the video, engage the metal tab and release it, then remove the screwdriver and take out the lock by hand. Disconnect the door opening handle (unplug the power connector) and insert the new lock into the door. Finally, attach the handle and tighten the lock with the appropriate key.
