In this video we can see how it is not necessary to replace the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor that measures the amount of air entering the engine. This measurement is used by the electronic control unit to calculate the amount of fuel to inject, ensuring the optimal ratio for combustion. The MAF can be easily cleaned by removing it from its position, unscrewing the two screws holding it in place, and cleaning the sensor by spraying WD-40 or a contact cleaner spray abundantly. We recommend not performing the operation above the engine, but moving to a table, so that the cleaner does not pollute other parts of the engine. Then, we can put it back in place.
