The first operation to be performed is to lift the car on a lifting bridge and drain the gearbox oil (the drain plug is located at the rear of the gearbox); then remove the left wheel, then the brake caliper and the head of the suspension control arm in order to free the hub and also be able to remove the half shaft: loosen the nut securing the half shaft to the hub and also remove it from the gearbox housing. Proceed then with the removal of the starter motor, the gear cables and the clutch cable; unscrew the fastening pins of the gearbox housing to the engine block and the support that connects the gearbox to the car frame. At this point, it is possible to remove the gearbox housing and access the clutch.

Cum se demontează pompa de combustibil din rezervorul unui Opel Astra? În primul rând, deconectăm cablurile bateriei, apoi îndepărtăm scaunele din spate ale mașinii. Dezvăluim șuruburile de fixare ale capacului metalic (aflat pe placă), îl îndepărtăm din locul său, folosim hârtie absorbantă în jurul perimetrului pentru a tampona eventuale scurgeri de lichid. Dezvăluim piulița de fixare a pompei de combustibil (dacă este prezentă pe model), deconectăm clemele de alimentare și tuburile de circulație a lichidului. Extragem pompa de combustibil flotantă din locul său împreună cu piesele aferente. În final, montăm o piesă nouă.
