Raise the car on a lift, remove the right front wheel and then the wheel arch cover to access the crankshaft pulley; loosen the tensioner of the auxiliary belt and remove it from the pulleys; then remove the water pump pulley to access the destruction chamber pins.

Rotate the crankshaft pulley to align the phase references and then remove it. Remove the spark plug wires and the valve cover; remove the engine support after applying a jack under the engine itself; before proceeding with the removal of the distribution cover, drain the engine oil through the drain plug of the oil pan and remove the oil pan itself; then remove all the fixing pins of the distribution cover.

Once the cover is removed by sliding it from the top, start removing the lower part of the distribution chain starting from the respective tensioners and sliding guides; repeat the procedure for the upper part of the chain. Going backwards, install the new chains with their respective tensioners and guides; reassemble what was previously removed (it is recommended to replace the gasket of the cover) and fill the engine with new oil before restarting it.

Să vedem pe scurt instrucțiunile care ne vor permite să activăm închiderea și deschiderea automată a oglinzilor retrovizoare exterioare ale Jeep Compass. În primul rând, urcăm în mașină și pornim bordul; apoi apăsăm butonul pe care îl găsim sub reglarea geamului oglinzii, pentru a deschide electric oglinda, așa cum este ilustrat în videoclip. Apăsând butonul în direcția opusă, vom închide oglinzile; lăsând butonul activat, oglinzile se vor deschide și se vor închide complet automat!
