The guide shows how to replace the external rearview mirror of the Mercedes Benz C220 (W204). The first operation to be performed is to lower the window on the side where the operation is to be carried out; at this point, it is possible to detach the triangular cover of the mirror by pushing the edge towards the inside of the vehicle; disconnect the connector with a small screwdriver. Now it is possible to remove the sound-absorbing cover. By opening the cover on the edge of the door, it is possible to disconnect the mirror control cable. With a Torx25 screwdriver, it is possible to unscrew the fixing screws of the mirror; in this operation, keep the mirror in position to prevent it from falling. At this point, the mirror must be rotated upwards to facilitate the release of the lower part and then the upper part. When pulling it away, be careful to remove the connector. The disassembly procedure is completed; for the reassembly procedure, simply follow the steps so far in reverse.
