The following guide provides useful instructions on how to replace brake discs. Both the braking system and the vehicle's discs are of primary importance to ensure that the vehicle itself is operating at maximum efficiency, for the safety of both the driver and passengers.

This procedure can also be done independently, without having to rely on a mechanic. First of all, you will need to turn the steering wheel to your side, so that the brake caliper is facing towards you. Lift the car with the jack and remove the tire after removing the wheel bolts.

Take a hex key and unscrew all the bolts on the rear side that hold the caliper securely to the frame. Then, it will be possible to remove the brake caliper.

At this point, only the caliper bracket with the brake pads inside will remain. Remove the brake pads using a suitable flathead screwdriver, being careful not to damage the disc.

Then unscrew the bolts that hold the bracket firmly to the hub. Set them aside, as they will be useful for the reassembly phase. At this point, only the brake disc will remain, which will need to be replaced.
