Replacing the front shock absorbers on this car model will require quite a bit of work as many components will need to be disassembled: start by lifting the vehicle and removing the front wheels; disconnect the link rod from the shock absorber bracket and the tie rod end from the hub support in order to free it; then unscrew the fastening pins of the shock absorber from the hub support and remove it, then lower the vehicle and access the engine compartment; in order to remove the shock absorber supports from the body domes, the windshield wipers must be removed, the plastic cover under the windshield must be removed, and the wiper mechanism must be disassembled; once the shock absorber is extracted from its seat, apply clamps to compress the spring and remove the support from the stem; then apply the boot, spring, and support to the new shock absorber and proceed in reverse for installation on the vehicle.
