Replacing the windshield is a delicate and dangerous operation. To prevent accidental glass breakage during removal, it is advisable to protect the interior of the car with covers to prevent glass shards from spreading and entering the ventilation system.

It is also recommended to use appropriate hand and eye protection. Start by lowering the front windows, then use a sturdy plastic tool to remove the seal and moldings around the glass.

Open the hood and remove the windshield wiper mechanism. Unscrew the fastening screws of the air intake grille and remove it, also disconnecting the fan motor connector.

Remove the covers of the two pillars by manipulating the hidden screws behind the plastic caps. Also protect the engine air intakes and continue by lifting the windshield to remove it. It is advisable to use suction cups for this operation.

Clean the edge thoroughly with a tool to remove any residue from the old seal. Apply the appropriate sealant to the edge of the new glass that you will position on the car using the suction cups.

Place the appropriate spacers along the edge of the glass to position it correctly. Finish the sealing.

Reinstall the camera and finish with the moldings.
