The safety sensor that prevents someone from getting crushed by the sliding door is essential for this car. To replace it, we open the door in question and remove the inner door panel by unscrewing the screws and levering to release the panel from the clips, starting from where the inner handle is located.

Once removed, we disconnect the connectors and unscrew the bolts.

The cable of the sensor in question is fixed to the door with a bolt, and after passing through the door, it is connected to the connector. Disconnect it and remove it from the door by releasing the clip that holds it from the inside.

Now we can remove the entire vertical seal that covers the sensor and the door, replace it with the new one, and be very careful to retrace the steps in reverse, without forgetting any clips and any internal seal.
