The gasoline filter is a component that needs to be replaced regularly. To proceed with this operation, it is necessary to wear protective goggles and rubber gloves.

The necessary tools are: a new replacement filter, hose clamps, screwdriver, ratchet wrench, and wire cutters. The first step is to remove the fuse related to the gasoline pump in order to cut off power during the replacement work.

Lift the car and secure it, then locate the filter. Place a plastic sheet in the work area to collect any gasoline that may leak out. The filter is fixed with a front and rear bracket that must be removed to allow the hose clamps to be removed from the fuel line.

Once the clamps are removed, remove the filter, allowing the gasoline to flow into a container. Install the new filter, paying attention to the direction of the flow indicated by an arrow on the filter itself.
