The pollen filter purifies the air in the cabin, preventing allergies for people sensitive to this condition. The filter is located in the engine compartment under the windshield. Obtain the same identical model of pollen filter as the original. To access it, rotate the three hooks of the air grille by about ¼ turn. Remove the cover by lifting it up. After removing the filter cover, remove the filter from its housing by unscrewing the two side screws with a ratchet wrench and then carefully pulling it upwards to avoid dispersing the dust. Clean the housing compartment from any dirt. Put the new cartridge back into the container, paying attention to the positioning direction, and close the cover with the hooks. Unscrew the air box screws, lift the cover to remove the exhausted cartridge and put in the new one. Close the air box carefully with its screws.

I den här videon ser vi hur man kontrollerar oljenivån på en Volvo V40: faktum är att dessa fordon inte har en oljesticka för att mäta nivån, så nivån måste kontrolleras från instrumentbrädan.
