The cabin air filter is located near the front right windshield wiper. Open the front hood and make sure it is securely supported. Between the windshield and the engine compartment, there is a plastic cover: the cabin air filter is located just below this cover. Remove the fastener along the edge of the fender: it is a snap fastener and to remove it, you must first press the central plastic pin inward and then release it. Remove the lip seal and lift the plastic cover: it is immediately possible to locate the cabin filter. Remove the old filter and insert the new one, respecting the direction of the airflow. Reposition the cover and the seal. Before inserting the snap fastener, the plastic pin must be removed to close the fastening tabs: then insert the fastener into the appropriate hole and finally the pin that will allow the opening of the tabs and the locking of the fastener itself.

Låt oss se hur man demonterar värmekylaren på en Mini Cooper. Först och främst: ta bort plastskyddet från den centrala tunneln (som är placerad under den vänstra delen av tunneln). Skruva loss fästskruvarna med en skruvmejsel och ta bort den svarta plasten som täcker värmekylaren. När alla dessa åtgärder är utförda, gå till motorutrymmet: ta bort plastskyddet för motorn och koppla loss de två slangarna (skruva loss klämmorna om de finns) från värmekylaren som går in i kupén, låt vätskan rinna ut. Koppla loss värmekylaren från rören inne i kupén. Gå baklänges genom alla monteringssteg.
