The gasoline filter is a component that needs to be replaced regularly. To proceed with this operation, it is necessary to wear protective goggles and rubber gloves.

The necessary tools are: a new replacement filter, hose clamps, a screwdriver, a ratchet wrench, and pliers. The first step is to remove the fuse related to the fuel pump in order to cut off power during the replacement work and open the tank cap. Lift the car and secure it, then locate the filter.

Place a plastic sheet in the work area to collect any gasoline that may leak. The filter is secured with a front and a rear bracket that need to be removed in order to remove the hose clamps that hold it to the fuel line.

Once the clamps are removed, remove the filter, allowing the contained gasoline to flow into a basin. Install the new filter, paying attention to the flow direction indicated by an arrow on the filter itself.
