To access the cabin filter, it is necessary to essentially disassemble a part of the dashboard; the only tool needed is a 20 torx key.
First of all, remove the central cover located in the center of the dashboard by sliding it backwards and pulling it off. Using the 20 torx key, unscrew the two fixing screws of the right side panel of the dashboard and release it from its seat, considering that there are fixing clips both above and below.
Now, remove the 6 fixing screws (2 front and 4 rear) of the dashboard reinforcement panel, lift it up and extract it (in this operation you may encounter some difficulty due to the position of the panel itself).
At this point, it is possible to view the cabin air filter: to remove it, it is necessary to release the fixing spring and pull it out.
Therefore, remove the filter from the plastic support and insert the new one respecting the indication of the direction of the air flow. Reposition the new filter in its seat by inserting the rear part first and then the front part, and then reattach the fixing spring. Reinstall the reinforcement panel and fix it by tightening the 6 fixing screws.
At this point, reattach the dashboard panel previously removed, first fitting the two plastic pins on the right side edge into the appropriate slots; then screw in the two fixing screws.
Finally, reposition the central cover and attach it by sliding it like a drawer.
