The cabin air filters are actually two and are located in the engine compartment, just below the windshield. Therefore, open the front hood and make sure it stays in a safe condition. Intercept the cabin air filter container, rotate the fixing cam of the cover with the appropriate key, release the spring and lift the cover. Then remove the old cabin filter and insert the new one, respecting the direction of the airflow and the reference notch present. Clean the filter container from any residues and reapply the cover with the new filter by reattaching the spring and tightening the fixing cam.

In this video, we will show you how to remove the diesel filter on a Ford Focus by yourself and in the best possible way. Firstly, we lift the engine hood and secure it. Once we locate the fuel filter, we disconnect it from the tubes and connection cables. We unscrew the tightening bolts of the upper cover of the filter using a fixed wrench and socket wrench. We unscrew the central bolt located on the filter. We remove the worn-out filter and screw back the filter cap with the new filter attached. We reassemble the filter housing cover in the engine compartment with all its parts (tubes and power cables).
