Remove the gear lever knob by unscrewing it. Also remove the metal plate of the gear selector and the cigarette lighter compartment by disconnecting the wires. Remove the leather cover of the armrest. Now, in the tunnel compartment, the wiring connector of the switch panel can be accessed and disconnected. Cut the plastic tie of the handbrake lever protection and unscrew the tunnel screws with a hex key, taking care not to damage the plastic. Gently remove the tunnel. Remove the spring pin and the C-ring seal at the base of the gear lever with a hex key and remove the spring. Remove the plastic element around the shaft in the square support at the base with the help of someone. Once the old bushing is removed, install a new one on the shaft, fix it, and verify proper operation by moving the lever in all positions. Carefully reassemble the remaining components and thoroughly grease the entire mechanism. Restore all other parts.
