Ford F-150'in vites topuzu değiştirilmek istenirse, vites topuzunun arka kısmındaki krom kapak bir tornavida ile kaldırılmalıdır. Kapak kaldırıldıktan sonra altındaki vida da uygun bir tornavida ile sökülmelidir. Bu vida da çıkarıldıktan sonra eski vites topuzu üst kısmından çıkarılabilir. Eski vites topuzu çıkarıldıktan sonra yeni vites topuzu yerleştirilip arka kısımdaki vida ile sabitlenmelidir. Son olarak, bu kısım uygun krom kapak ile kapatılmalıdır.
