Part: Headlight
Operation: How to repair the headlight of the Lotus Elan

Today we will explain how to repair the electrical mechanism of the front headlight of a Lotus Elan M100. We will start the repair by opening the front hood and removing the headlight motor. To do this, we will need to disconnect the wiring from the multipin connector and then detach the motor from the push rod by unscrewing the nuts as shown in the video. The headlight motor is located very low, so it will be necessary to remove the left front wheel and the wheel arch to better remove the nuts and bolts that secure the motor. Once the obstructions are removed, you can remove and extract the motor. Once extracted, begin adjusting it as shown in the video. Lubricate it and insert it back into its housing. Reassemble the car and enjoy your electric headlight.
