How do you replace the Sherco 450 piston?

In order to replace the Sherco 450 piston it is necessary to loosen all the screws that fix the engine to the supports of its housing, so that it can be removed from its seat by disconnecting the connectors. Once the engine has been released, it will be necessary to remove it from its housing and then loosen the screws that secure the cylinder: the latter can now be detached by accessing the piston placed inside. It will have to be detached from its connecting rod by removing its fixing ring and replacing it with a new spare part; after replacement, all removed components can be re-assembled.

We see below the step-by-step instructions to be able to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, of the Yamaha Tracer 900. First of all we put our bike on the central stand and begin to unscrew the vent bolt of the the oil that we find under the engine, letting it drain in a container for about ten minutes; after which we use the special key to unscrew and remove the filter cartridge, replacing it with the new one, as shown in the video.
