To open the fuel cap of a Volkswagen Golf, start by making sure the car doors are unlocked using the key or remote control. Once unlocked, head towards the fuel door located on the side of the vehicle. Gently press on the front end of the door to unlock and open it. With the fuel door open, twist the tank cap counterclockwise to unscrew it. After refueling, screw the fuel cap clockwise until you hear a click, indicating it is securely closed. Finally, close the fuel door by gently pressing it until it clicks into place. This ensures the door is properly closed and secure.
