The Start and Stop system no longer works on my Fiat Tipo, what could it be?

When the indication "Start & Stop not available" appears on the instrument panel display of your Fiat Tipo, the first thing to check is the state of the battery. If this, even if loaded, has lost a little of its cue, it will not be able to sustain the starts required by the Start & Stop system. Alternatively (especially if you use the car for short journeys) it could be that the car has not completed the regeneration of the FAP filter correctly. In this case, it must be completely regenerated before the system starts working again.
