Operation: Deactivation of the Start/Stop feature of the Fiat Tipo.

The Start/Stop system of the Fiat Tipo is designed to turn off the engine when we are stopped at a traffic light and to restart it when we start moving again. However, there are users who do not like this function and would prefer to deactivate it. To do this, it is necessary to know that part of the operation is based on the reading, by a sensor, of the battery voltage. Therefore, it is necessary to locate this sensor, which in the Tipo is positioned laterally on the negative terminal clamp wired with a connector that we will disconnect and place in a safe position. After driving a few kilometers, the system will adjust to the new condition and the Start/Stop function will no longer activate. There will only be a warning light on the dashboard to remind us of the deactivation.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
