Today, let's go through the main steps to remove and replace the thermostat on the Mercedes B-Class with a diesel engine. First, open the bonnet and begin by removing the control unit located at the top right by unscrewing the screws and disconnecting the wiring.

Then, unscrew the thermostat screws and disconnect the coolant pipe as shown in the video. At this point, install the new thermostat and refill with fresh engine coolant, filling to the maximum level mark on the reservoir.
