Operation: How to replace the thermostat of a Mercedes Class B 200

Before we can begin, we will have to open the front hood so that we can work in the engine compartment. We then start by removing the air filter and its housing, unscrewing the screws that secure it, and then disconnecting the sleeves. By doing this we will have reached and located the thermostat to be replaced. We then proceed with disconnecting the two sleeves connected to it, and then disconnecting the plug as well. In doing so, to remove the thermostat, all we have to do is unscrew and remove the three bolts that secure it, and then extract it from its housing. At this point, to mount the new thermostat, we will simply have to follow the instructions in reverse, and we will have successfully completed the replacement.
