Answer

The engine oil light is usually yellow/orange. Only some cars also have a red engine oil warning light. The yellow engine oil warning light means that there is oil in the engine. However, it is advisable to check from the special dipstick. If the level is actually below the minimum, top up the oil until reaching the maximum level. Check the filter for leaks and check the oil pan for leaks as well. It is also advisable to have the delivery pump and the pressure regulators checked.
