Answer

Code 82, on an Opel/Vauxhall, is the request for an oil change, or service. To reset it, with the ignition on, repeatedly press the multifunction button on the instrument panel until "reset" appears on the screen. now press the button on the end of the headlight lever until the word "100" appears on the screen. at this point the reset operation is completed.
