What Does the "code 82" Message Mean in the Opel Meriva and How to Clear It?

If the message "code 82" appears on the instrument panel of your Opel Meriva, it means it is time for a service as the relevant interval has been exceeded. Once this is done at your trusted garage, you can manually reset the warning light by following this simple procedure. First, insert the key and turn on the ignition, then press the "Menu" button on the left-hand control stalk and use the rotary dial to scroll through the various screens. Once you reach the oil life remaining screen along with the "Reset" message, press and hold the "SET/CLR" button to confirm the reset.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
