This tutorial shows how to replace the remote control cover on an Opel Meriva, a very simple task. You will need a small flathead screwdriver and the correct replacement part. First, locate the slot on the back of the remote control, then insert the screwdriver into it, prying apart the two halves and removing the sensor from the back of the metal key. At this point, open the button panel, remove both the battery and the circuit, and insert them into the replacement cover. Follow the reverse procedure to reassemble everything.
