Error code 16 on an Opel Adam indicates a fault with the brake light; this error is communicated to the instrument cluster and can be resolved by replacing the brake bulb. To carry out the bulb replacement, it is important to follow the instructions in the user and maintenance manual. The instrument cluster also shows which side the bulb has failed. In our video example, it is the right rear light bulb. If, after replacing it, the bulb still does not work, it will be necessary to check the corresponding fuse.
