Unlike the previous models of the Bavarian house, which housed the passenger compartment air filter under the windscreen, in the engine compartment, on the F series the filter was placed inside the passenger compartment, under the glove compartment drawer; to be able to replace it, remove the cover present just below the storage compartment and unscrew the fixing screws of the filter container cap which has a semi-circular shape.
