Answer

The W205 version of the C-Class is an excellent car: the only problem it has had (especially with the early models) is with the 7G-Tronic automatic transmission, which had a fragile hydraulic block that tended to overheat and could cause problems after just 100,000 kilometers. Other transmission problems included issues with the electronics, clutch wear, and fragility of the oil pump. However, over the years, the transmission has undergone many modifications and improvements, and newer versions, if properly maintained, do not have serious problems.
