It is possible to open the trunk of our Opel Astra from the inside; we will need to enter the rear passenger compartment and fold down the seat backs, in order to enter the trunk in the easiest way possible. Inside the trunk, near the internal lock, we will need to loosen the upholstery a bit - on almost all versions it is on the right side - and here we will find a button or lever (this also depends on the version). Pressing it will allow the trunk to open, at least in an emergency.
